MomTalk.com Gets a Makeover!
If you haven't been here for awhile, you'll probably notice that momTalk.com has a whole new look. Like any good makeover, it goes beyond just a few new outfits. We think you'll see it's easier to read and easier to find article of interest. And the site is packed with new features.
For starters, the home page has lots of goodies ---find the most popular articles and the most-read forum posts, for example. Sign up for our RSS feed or tag us on your favorite social networking site.
And by all means, check out our new events calendar. From the home page (and almost every other page) you can quickly check out event info by holding your cursor over a date. Then click through to see the whole calendar. You can select what view you want of the calendar---monthly or different kinds of lists. And there's more--once you're on the event information page you can add an event to your own calendar app, send yourself event reminders, text message event info, forward the event to friends and more; all by clicking on the 'event action' dropdown.
The articles have new features too. At the end of each article you'll see some related articles and little icons that allow you create a link to the article or share it with friends.
Over the past few months, we've really thought about what will make MomTalk.com the premier resource for busy moms like you (and like us). We've listened to your suggestions and had a few brainstorms of our own, and now it's all coming together in the new MomTalk.com
