Pork Chop Skillet Meal

4 pork chops
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1¼ cup water
2/3 cup uncooked rice
½ cup chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1 15-oz. can diced tomatoes, undrained
¼ teaspoon pepper
In a large skillet, brown pork chops in oil, drain, remove chops. Combine water, rice, onion and salt in skillet. Place chops over mixture. Top with corn and tomatoes. Sprinkle with pepper. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 25 minutes or until chops and rice are tender. 4 servings.
