Fresh Organic Baby Food is Here
Tired of feeding your child from a jar of baby food that's older than your baby? Considering all the parents who make their children's food at home, you're not alone. But where do time-starved and health-conscious parents find room in the day to boil, peel and puree a mini-meal of fruits and veggies?
Enter the new generation of baby foods. Homemade Baby offers concerned parents the country's only fresh baby food, which you can find in the refrigerated section, exclusively at SuperTargets nationwide. Every meal consists of 100% organic ingredients, textured for your baby's stages. And it all started as an idea in the shower, says the company's owner, Theresa Kiene.
"I thought, why can't I just buy the baby food I've been making?" At the time of her idea in the shower, Theresa had spent over five years creating nutritious homemade baby food meals for her husband and their three children. Theresa shared the food with friends and family and soon realized that she and her husband weren't the only parents looking for better food choices for their children. "After doing research, what started as a curiosity became a hobby, a passion and then a business," says Matt Kiene, a former television producer. The Kienes brought together a network of food industry experts and created a state of the art production facility that now produces the meals using a "Fresh Chill" method of cooking that has never before been used to prepare baby food. The company's unique "Meal Integrity System" can trace every ingredient in each cup of food back to the field where it was grown.
Homemade Baby offers three stages of textured food, depending on the baby's stage of development. "So Smooth" dishes such as Just Apples, Just Pears and Just Sweet Potatoes consist of single 100% organic ingredients for babies just learning to eat. The next stage, "Good Mushy", consists of simple combinations like Piwi (pears and kiwi) and Squapples (roasted squash and apples). The toddler stage, called "Kinda Chunky", includes Yummy Yammies and Baby Tex Mex.

Parents have recognized the advantages of organic baby food for years. A baby's developing immune system doesn't have the ability to break down pesticides, and there is nothing to prevent pesticides from entering the baby's brain. Fresh baby food offers an additional advantage of taste and nutrition. Research shows that a child's first three years establish his eating habits for life. Fresh food makes the transition to table foods smooth and easy.
Homemade Baby also donates 10% of all the food it makes to charities that serve undernourished children. You can learn more about Homemade Baby and find free coupons at: Homemade Baby.
