With warmer, sunny days heralding the arrival of a new season, wardrobes everywhere are getting ready to make their debut. Sometimes, however, searching for the latest trends is enough to leave anyone lost in the dark. To help navigate the world of fashion, food and beauty celebrity stylist and author of Effortless Style: Make Looking Good Look Easy June Ambrose steers us in the right direction with her top picks that are simple to remember and here to stay.

For spring and summer, bold is beautiful, layering is where it's at and a fresh, authentic look makes a come back, according to Ambrose's exclusive style guide. "Whether you're an A-list celebrity or the girl next door, this is the time to shed your winter doldrums and explore vibrant and exciting new trends," Ambrose says.

In order to liven up a look, Ambrose suggests dressing in bright, bold colors like greens and yellows that truly "wake up" your wardrobe. Layering these lively colors in tanks and tees is one way to keep your wardrobe exciting. The layered colors and varying lengths of shirts creates a dynamic look, adding more dimension to an otherwise simple tee or tank. "Layering isn't just limited to clothes," Ambrose says. "Try layering different colors and sizes of necklaces and bracelets too. It creates a unique, polished look that's sure to turn heads."

In beauty, Ambrose suggests a return to a natural authentic look. "While bold colors are great for clothes, a fresh face is where it's at for spring and summer," Ambrose advises. "Keep it simple with a light bronzer, and a touch of colored blush." Simple tips to follow include:

* Apply a light, pressed powder to the entire face.
* Then, sweep a bit of bronzer that is only slightly darker than your natural skin color.
* Next, a little blush to give you a sun-kissed glow.
* And finally, a dab of clear lip gloss to finish off your authentic summer look.

When it comes to food, Ambrose doesn't fool around. "Spring and summer is all about the return of fresh salads. McDonald's Southwest Salad is my top pick when I'm looking for a tasty, convenient and filling meal for lunch or dinner," Ambrose says. This salad takes layering to new heights with a mixture of zesty ingredients - think oven-roasted tomatoes, fire-roasted corn, poblano peppers and cilantro-lime glazed chicken on a bed of up to 15 premium greens. "What's also great is that the Southwest Salad is a designer salad without the designer cost. It doesn't get much better than that." This season be bold, be adventurous. Debut a fabulous new you!
