Rub - A - Dub Tub Paints: Kids Krafts

By Tracey C. Agranoff

Ages 3-6 yrs.

You Will Need:

• ½ - Cup liquid hand soap ( white or clear work best)
• 1 - Teaspoon Cornstarch
• Package of food coloring - variety pack
• Mixing bowl and spoon
• A bunch of small plastic containers or cups

Step 1. Mix the soap and cornstarch in a small mixing bowl.

Step 2. Pour small amounts of the mixture into several small
plastic containers or cups ( use as many containers as different colors of paint you would like to make)

Step 3. Add food coloring, to each container/cup a drop at a
time until you get the color and darkness that you like. Repeat in each container/cup for all of the colors you like.

You may want to test the paints on a small area of your tub to make sure they won't stain. Bathroom cleanser may be needed for final clean up of the tub after Tub Paint use.

Step 4. Use fingers or brushes to make your tub a work of art
and enjoy lots of soapy colorful fun!

Hints
Cover and store paints in the refrigerator to use for several days if desired.
