Ocean-In-A-Bottle


You Will Need: • Clean, dry baby food jar with lid • Baby Oil • Water • Blue food coloring • Tablespoon • Glitter • Small Shells or confetti • Colored duct tape STEP 1 - Remove lid from...


You Will Need:


• Clean, dry baby food jar with lid
• Baby Oil
• Water
• Blue food coloring
• Tablespoon
• Glitter
• Small Shells or confetti
• Colored duct tape


STEP 1 - Remove lid from baby food jar and set aside. Fill jar ½ way with water.


STEP 2 - Drop several drops of blue food coloring into the water and stir until blended.


STEP 3 - Using a tablespoon, spoon in glitter, shells and /or confetti into the jar and blue water.


STEP 4 - Fill the remainder of the jar with baby oil. Replace lid and seal.

• Scissors
• Spring clothes pins
• Construction paper
• Washable tempera paints
• Paper plates


Lay down old newspaper to cover the work area before beginning the project


STEP 1 - Using a scissors cut the dry sponges into any large shapes you like - geometric are good. If you are adventurous try animal or letter shapes.


STEP 2 - Pinch a clothes pin into the middle of the sponge to create a handle.
